I think Alyeska has the highest elevation drop in Alaska but I could be wrong. Needless to say we're pretty ok with snow up here in Alaska, there's so much snow here you can't believe it. The skiing is perfect perfect! I cannot get enough of this mountain ever! Do wear plenty of clothes though. says Brian Nelson.

Alyeska has the most sizeable height difference among ski mountains in a 1965 mile radius. The drop from top to bottom of 2,500 feet is striking. Alyeska is an ordinary size ski hill boasting a medium

    drop when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. This ski mountain has more than average snow every snow season. This ski area has an average part of advanced and expert ski runs and an average part of green and blue trails. Having a totality of
68 slopes to ski on; there's a delightful variety to gratify everyone. The 9 great ski lifts here will get you up the mountain efficiently. Alyeska has an acceptable assortment of trails and enough lifts to serve them all. This ski hill has a glorious pick of runs to suit all abilities; it's out of the question to get bored here. hills of the Chugach Mountains is a vista worth seeing. The Alaska hills during snow season are always delightful for snowboarding and skiing. The white snow here becomes exceptionally deep, 65 feet per season, and that is plenty for exceptionally delightful depth. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this is a vicinity with few other sites for that. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is so much fun all snow season long. The beautiful snow covered Chugach Mountains hills are a delightful spot for snowboarding and skiing. Getting a great workout and a chance to spend some time in the great outdoors have people coming here. Places to stay are available close to the bottom of the hill, and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set. Winter in the mountains of Alaska and all the wonderful slopes are wonderful attractions for loads of ski folks.
