| | Spent an afternoon skiing there a very long time ago. Spoiled by Aspen, Snowmass, Highlands and Vail....Alpine Meadows was my intro into Sierra Mountain life....Great day, challenging fun and full of Nice folks and Super Snow. says Jay of Furmania.

trails. With the ski terrain being 2,400 acres you will never be without skiable terrain. This ski mountain has 100 trails that you could ski on; there's a magnificent range to please everyone. This ski hill has an altitude difference
| | of 1,802 feet; Alpine Meadows makes the most of it. This ski hill gets covered by so much good snow, 41 feet per year, and that is a very nice coverage. This ski mountain receives more snowfall than the local average each winter. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this is an area with lots of places for that. snow is a pure skiing and snowboarding heaven. Alpine Meadows is a large ski area with a medium height difference when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. Alpine Meadows has a lot of different trails and a wonderful selection of lifts. Alpine Meadows has a nice selection of trails to suit all abilities; it won’t leave anyone bored. Sierra Nevada give this ski hill an incredibly good view. There are a lot of hotel rooms here if you want to spend a night, and if you make reservations ahead of going, you're all set. In winter the California peaks are a good site for skiing and snowboarding.
