Donner Ski Ranch has a much lower than average percentage of hard slopes and a much higher than average percentage of beginner and intermediate trails. Donner Ski Ranch has an okay range of trails and a reasonable number of different ski lifts. With a 750 foot vertical drop it's not the highest hill there is, but Donner Ski Ranch has so many other glorious attributes. This ski hill obtains higher than average snow every snow season. There are many rooms here if you want to stay for the night, and if you make reservations

    prior to departure, you're all set. All of the 7 lifts are in perfect condition. Having a sum of 52 runs to ski on; there are sufficient runs for every ability. Having the skiing area being 505 acres you won't be deficient in skiable terrain. This is a family
friendly ski area with lots of intermediate or beginner ski slopes. You'll come across loads of skiers from Truckee-Grass Valley here. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, there are loads of great sites for that in the neighborhood. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is lots of fun throughout the ski season. This is a more petite than average ski area having a pretty petite elevation difference when you compare it to other ski hills in the region. The snow here gets truly deep,

33 feet every year, and that is plenty for truly brilliant coverage. Getting your skiing muscles stimulated and spending some quality time in the fresh air outclasses anything. The highlands of the Northern Sierra Nevada in winter are so gorgeous you won’t believe it. The natural splendor of the California hills and great slopes are in themselves reason enough to come here to ski. Donner Ski Ranch has a tremendous selection of ski slopes to match all abilities; it's impossible to get bored here. The highlands of California during snow season are something you can’t miss if you're interested in snowboarding or skiing. The highlands of the Northern Sierra Nevada is a panorama worth seeing.
