Donner Ski Ranch   The 7 good ski lifts here make for a calming ride up the mountain. This is a small ski resort boasting a rather relaxed altitude difference when compared to other west coast ski hills. The 750 foot altitude difference is of course not that much to talk about, but Donner Ski Ranch makes up for it with other things. This ski area has a much lower than average part of hard trails and a much higher than average percentage of blue and green ski runs. On this mountain     you'll bump into 52 different runs; it's a great assortment. A lot of skiers from Truckee-Grass Valley like to ski here. Having 505 acres of terrain being short of skiable terrain won’t happen. The tremendous 33 feet of seasonal snowfall is sufficient for truly good depth. Donner Ski Ranch has a great variety of trails; it won’t leave anyone bored. This ski resort has an ok array of ski runs and sufficient different ski lifts to serve them all. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is a lot of fun all snow season long. The annual snowfall is heavier than average at Donner Ski Ranch. The striking beauty of the California mountains and the good sensation of speeding down the runs are       in themselves cause enough to come here to ski. A pleasant workout and just being on the ski slopes for a while will make you glad you came. The Northern Sierra Nevada in wintertime is a tremendous place for skiing and snowboarding.   No need to hunt hard for lodgings, but if you don’t have reservations, you may end up snoozing in your automobile. You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, there are loads of pleasant locations for that in close proximity. The mountains of the Northern Sierra Nevada give this ski area an extraordinarily tremendous vista. The mountains of California in the wintertime are a tremendous place for skiing and snowboarding. This is a family friendly ski hill with many green and blue trails for novices.
