This ski resort has 6 great ski lifts, and they are in magnificent shape. This is a small-size ski resort featuring a cozy vertical drop compared to other west coast ski mountains. With a total of 45 ski runs to ski on; there's a splendid array to gratify everyone. With a 750 foot altitude difference it's not the highest hill there is, but Donner Ski Ranch has so many other great qualities. The seasonal snowfall is more than average at this ski mountain. 435 acres of ski terrain, and it's all in fine condition. You get scores of skiers driving up here from Truckee-Grass Valley on snow-white weekends. The white snow here turns genuinely deep, 33 feet every year, and that is one of the reasons this is such a brilliant ski area.
