and skiing in this region is loads of fun every day of the season. No need to hunt hard for places to stay, but if you don’t have reservations, you could end up snoozing in your car. In wintertime the Northern Sierra Nevada is a tremendous spot for snowboarding and skiing. Great exercise and just being on the slopes for a while are pleasant incentives to come.
