Kirkwood ski area, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   This ski resort boasts more than average snow every snow season. This ski mountain has 65 trails that you may ski on; there are sufficient trails for every capability. This ski hill has a good selection of ski trails and a lot of lifts. With 2,300 acres of skiing territory you won't be without skiing territory. This is a big ski mountain with an average height difference when you compare it to other ski resorts in the region. The Northern Sierra Nevada and its highlands is a sight worth seeing. The snowboarding and the     skiing in this part of the country is so much fun all season long. The 15 lifts here are enjoyable to hitch a ride with. The 2,000 feet of elevation difference is rather okay; Kirkwood makes good use of it. The wintertime surroundings of the California peaks and the thrill of rocketing down a slope have snow folks coming from far and near. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this region has scores of ski resorts. The phenomenal yearly snowfall of 42 feet is an extremely fine depth.
