| | The 15 lifts here make for a tranquil ride up the hill. This ski hill has a good diversity of trails and a good pick of ski lifts. This is a full-scale ski area with a roughly average drop when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. On this hill you'll run into 65 different runs; there are sufficient runs for every ability. Having 2,300 acres of skiing territory running out of skiable terrain won’t happen. and advanced slopes and an average ratio of easy trails. Kirkwood obtains greater than average snow every winter season. The 2,000 feet of elevation difference is not too bad; Kirkwood makes excellent use of it. A little exercise
| | and just hanging out with your skiing buddies are great incentives to come. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a lot of fun through the winter season. The beautiful snow here turns very deep, 42 feet every season, and that is one of the greatest traits of this ski hill. The peaks of the Northern Sierra Nevada make for a fine sight. peaks and the perfect sensation of speeding down the ski slopes have skiers coming from all over. The Northern Sierra Nevada in winter is an exceptionally fine spot if you get pleasure from snowboarding or skiing. This ski area has a great selection of slopes to fit all abilities; it's completely out of the question to get bored here. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are loads of great ski hills for that close by.
