Mount Shasta ski area, Southern Cascade Range, California

  Mount Shasta has the most sizeable drop among ski hills in a 119 mile radius. The annual snowfall is higher than average at this ski hill. The 1,390 feet of drop from top to bottom is not too bad; Mount Shasta makes the most of it all. This is a small-size ski mountain with a medium drop from top to bottom if compared to other west coast ski hills. With a totality of 32 runs to ski on; it's a good mixture. This ski hill has an okay range of runs and a good number of good ski lifts. Skiing and snowboarding in this part
    of the country is a lot of fun through the winter. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, around here, you won't discover a lot of other ski areas. There are a lot of accommodations here if you want to spend the night, but if you don’t have reservations,
you could end up sleeping in your vehicle. There's 425 acres of terrain, and it's all in good shape. The mind-boggling 23 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the finest traits of this ski resort. Mount Shasta has a much lower than average share of expert and advanced trails and a much higher than average share of green and blue runs. There are 5 different ski lifts here, and they make for a relaxing ride up the mountain. Mount Shasta is a family friendly ski hill with scores of green and blue ski runs for beginners. The hills  
of California blanketed in wonderful snow are a great place for skiing or snowboarding. Mount Shasta has a delightful range of ski runs; it won’t leave anyone bored. The natural prettiness of the California mountains and splendid slopes are incentive enough to come here to ski. In wintertime the Southern Cascade Range is a real skiing or snowboarding heaven. Getting your skiing muscles set in motion and getting out of the house for a while have skiers coming here. The hills of the Southern Cascade Range give this ski hill a very great vista.
