Soda Springs ski area, Northern Sierra Nevada, California
| | The 5 ski lifts here are in great condition. The 16 runs at this ski hill are great. There's 200 acres of skiing land, and all of it makes for glorious skiing. A 625 foot drop from top to bottom is naturally not that much, but all the other wonderful attributes of Soda Springs compensate for it. Soda Springs has a somewhat small diversity of slopes and a decent pick of ski lifts. Soda Springs gets stronger than average snow each snow season. The peaks of the Northern Sierra Nevada give this ski area a tremendously glorious |
scenery. Soda Springs has a much lower than average share of challenging slopes and a much higher than average share of intermediate or beginner slopes. The Northern Sierra Nevada in winter is a tremendously glorious site if you enjoy skiing or snowboarding. The
| | mind-boggling yearly snowfall of 33 feet is one of the most excellent highlights of this ski hill. This is a small-size ski resort featuring a relatively cozy elevation difference if compared to other west coast ski mountains. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is lots of fun all snow season long. Getting a little good exercise and just being on the slopes for a while are good causes to come. Lots of skiers from Truckee-Grass Valley like to ski here. There aren’t any rooms in the neighborhood, | |
but if you're prepared to drive a short length then no problem, but do book a room ahead of going since it is a very popular destination. Soda Springs is a family friendly ski resort with a load of intermediate or beginner ski trails. Please refer to the ski trail
map of Soda Springs on this net page for info. The winter in California is the most majestic time of the year for skiing or snowboarding. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, in the vicinity, you'll run into many good sites.
