This ski area receives so much snow, 38 feet every year, and that is one of the reasons this is such a nice ski area. Squaw Valley has scores of different ski slopes and a nice selection of great ski lifts. This ski mountain has a much lower than average part of black and red slopes and a much higher than average ratio of beginner and intermediate ski slopes. All of the 33 great ski lifts are admirably taken care of and run by caring people. The nearest

    ski resort with a more towering height difference is 276 miles away. Having a grand total of 177 slopes to ski on; there's a great array to please everyone. This ski resort has an elevation difference of 2,850 feet which is plenty for a great top to bottom run.
