Sugar Bowl has the largest drop among ski areas in a 28 mile radius. Sugar Bowl has higher than average snow each ski season. Sugar Bowl has a lot of slopes and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. The 1,500 feet of vertical drop is not that shaggy; it's enough to get some decent time on the ski runs between lifts. With 1,500 acres of skiable territory you won't be short of skiable territory. This ski hill has an

    average proportion of expert and advanced trails and an average proportion of blue and green slopes. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, in this general vicinity, you'll locate scores of ski resorts. There are 13 good ski lifts here, and
they are satisfactorily kept up and operated by kind folks. The peaks of the Northern Sierra Nevada is a landscape worth seeing. Having a total of 85 trails to ski on; there's a magnificent assortment to suit everyone. Sugar Bowl has a great selection of trails to fit all abilities; it's not possible to get bored here. The natural beauty of the California hills and the joy of coasting down a slope are wonderful attractions for loads of skiers. Getting a bit of delightful exercise and just hanging out with your skiing friends attract snow skiers from far and near.
