| | Sugar Bowl gets blanketed by more snowfall than the local average each season. Having 1,500 acres of skiable area running out of skiing area won’t happen. Having a totality of 85 trails to ski on; there's a nice variety to please everyone. The 1,500 feet of altitude difference is quite okay; Sugar Bowl makes great use of it all. The nearest ski mountain with a more towering height difference is 28 miles away. All 13 great ski lifts at this ski area will get you up the hill well. Sugar Bowl is a regular size ski resort having a medium elevation difference if compared to other west coast ski mountains. Sugar Bowl has loads of different ski trails and an acceptable selection of great ski lifts. The nearby accommodations are a bit away from the main area, but do book a room before you go in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. | |

The beautiful loveliness of the California mountaintops and the especially great slopes are in themselves reason enough to come here to ski. The Northern Sierra Nevada and its mountains is a vista worth seeing. The snow-white mountains of California are a good
site for snowboarding or skiing. Getting a bit of splendid exercise and spending some quality time in the fresh air outdoes anything.
