Badger Pass

Badger Pass is the perfect place to learn to ski or snowboard. It has a really long bunny slope, and all the other trails are pretty easy too. The problem is that once you know how to ski without a V-shape thingy the place has little to offer. The staff is very friendly though. Says Bob.

No other ski mountain for 35 miles has a higher drop from top to bottom. The annual snowfall is approximately average at Badger Pass. With a 540 foot altitude difference
it's not the tallest hill there is, but Badger Pass compensates for it in other ways. Badger Pass has a somewhat small range of runs and an acceptable amount of good ski lifts. This ski resort has 100 acres of skiing land, and all
of it makes for great skiing. The 5 great ski lifts here make for a calming ride up the hill. The ski run map of Badger Pass on this internet page of course says a thousand words. The Central Sierra Nevada and its highlands is a panorama worth seeing. This is a more petite than average ski mountain featuring a pretty relaxed drop from top to bottom compared to other west coast ski mountains. This ski resort has a much lower than average percentage of expert and advanced
slopes and a much higher than average proportion of green and blue runs. This is a tremendous location for young and old with lots of beginner and intermediate trails. The 10 trails at this ski mountain are totally enjoyable. The phenomenal 17 feet of seasonal snowfall is sufficient for extremely pleasant coverage. You get lots of skiers traveling up here from Madera on snow covered weekends. Hotels are available near the base area, but do reserve a room ahead of going since it is a very popular destination. The highlands of the Central Sierra Nevada in winter are so striking you won’t believe it. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, this area has scores of ski mountains. When this segment of California is blanketed in fluffy snow; it is so striking for snowboarding or skiing. The snowboarding and the skiing in California is a good thing to do through the season. Getting a little bit of good exercise and just being on the trails for a while will make you happy you came.
