Mt. Rose ski area, Northern Sierra Nevada, Nevada
|
| | All of the 8 great ski lifts make for a comforting ride up the mountain. The yearly snowfall is higher than average at this ski area. This ski hill has an acceptable variety of ski trails and a reasonable selection of different ski lifts. The 1,800 feet of altitude difference is pretty all right; it's enough to get some decent time on the ski trails between lifts. This ski resort has 60 runs that you may ski on; there's a great diversity to please everyone. Mt. Rose has a much higher than average share of red and black trails |
|
and a share of blue and green trails much lower than average. Mt. Rose has a fine selection of trails; it won’t leave anyone bored. The mind-blowing 33 feet of annual snowfall is an exceptionally great depth. The nearest ski area boasting a higher elevation difference
| | is 279 miles away. It's always enjoyable to ski here where heaps of the trails push the limits of even the greatest skiers. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this is a vicinity with a lot of spots for that. Mt. Rose is an average size ski area boasting a medium drop when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. With such a sizeable skiable land, 1,200 acres in all you will never be without terrain. The hills of Nevada in winter are a nice spot for snowboarding and skiing. The Northern | |
|
Sierra Nevada and its hills make for a nice landscape. If you'll be staying in a hotel, you're in luck, rooms are available near the bottom of the hill, but you'd better reserve previous to going given that these rooms fill up fast. Getting a little bit of pleasant
exercise and getting out of the house for a while are pleasant reasons to come. The grandiose mountain view of Nevada and the pleasant sense of coasting down the ski slopes are reason enough to come here to ski. The Northern Sierra Nevada in wintertime is a real
snowboarding and skiing paradise. These ski trails are quite insane sometimes; they'll make you really feel years younger. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a lot of fun throughout the ski season.
Special features: Mt. Rose
will offer 2 terrain parks for this season: Doubledown & Badlands. Both parks are located in the Slide Bowl and have a variety of features.
