This is a cozy ski resort featuring a roughly average vertical drop when compared to other west coast ski hills. This ski area has a much higher than average ratio of challenging ski runs and a ratio of intermediate or beginner ski runs much lower than average. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Oregon is so much fun the whole season. No other ski hill for 91 miles has a more soaring drop. There's 200 acres of skiing area, and it's all covered by snow. Mt. Ashland has a moderate diversity of runs and quite few ski lifts. The incredible 25 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the finest characteristics of this ski resort. No need to search hard for hotel rooms, but you'd better book previous to going in view of the fact that these hotel rooms fill up swiftly.
