Purgatory ski area, Colorado

  With 1,200 acres of skiable area running out of skiing area won’t happen. The elevation difference of 2,029 feet is a great drop. The yearly snowfall is in the order of average at this ski area. Having a sum of 85 ski slopes to ski on; there are sufficient ski slopes for every capability. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a lot of fun the whole snow season. Purgatory is a mid-size ski hill featuring a roughly average drop from top to bottom when you compare it to other ski areas in the region.
    The trailmap of Purgatory on this page naturally says a thousand words. The lovely prettiness of the Colorado hills and all the wonderful slopes have people coming from all over. Purgatory has loads of trails and a reasonable selection of lifts. Some people prefer
skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this is a neighborhood with a heap of sites for that. The extraordinary 22 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a great ski resort. This ski resort has a much lower than average share of challenging ski runs and a much higher than average proportion of beginner and intermediate trails. There are 11 different ski lifts here, and they are admirably maintained and run by caring folks. Nothing surpasses the Colorado peaks in the wintertime; they are something  
you can’t pass up if you're into skiing and snowboarding. There are fine comfy rooms here, but do reserve a room previous to going given that it is a very popular destination. Purgatory is a great ski area for everybody with lots of easy runs.
