Purgatory ski area, Colorado
|
| | I was here last winter, the skiing was great. says Jill.
This ski mountain's height difference of 2,029 feet is incredible. Purgatory has a lot of trails and an acceptable number of lifts. The phenomenal 22 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a great ski hill. This is a conventional size ski area in possession of an average vertical drop when compared to other US Rockies ski resorts. Purgatory has a much lower than average part of advanced and expert runs and a much higher than average |

share of green and blue trails. This ski resort boasts snowfall close to the local average every snow season. There are 85 trails to pick from; there are plenty trails for every capability. This ski mountain has 11 great ski lifts, and they are competently looked
| | after and controlled by caring people. Nothing is better than the Colorado summits during snow season; they are always good for skiing and snowboarding. Having 1,200 acres of skiing territory you won't be deficient in ski terrain. The stunning attractiveness of the Colorado highlands and all the good runs have a lot of snow skiers coming here. If you'll be staying in a hotel, you're in luck, hotels are on hand near the base area, but you'd better book in advance of a trip in view of the fact that these hotels fill up | |

quickly. The trailmap of Purgatory on this internet page of course says a thousand words. Getting a great workout and spending some quality time in the wilderness will have you coming back for more. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is
so much fun all season long. This is a fine ski area for young and old with loads of blue and green ski slopes. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are lots of great places for that close at hand.
