| | With 1,200 acres of skiable area running out of skiing area won’t happen. The elevation difference of 2,029 feet is a great drop. The yearly snowfall is in the order of average at this ski area. Having a sum of 85 ski slopes to ski on; there are sufficient ski slopes for every capability. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a lot of fun the whole snow season. Purgatory is a mid-size ski hill featuring a roughly average drop from top to bottom when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. |

| | skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this is a neighborhood with a heap of sites for that. The extraordinary 22 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a great ski resort. This ski resort has a much lower than average share of challenging ski runs and a much higher than average proportion of beginner and intermediate trails. you can’t pass up if you're into skiing and snowboarding. There are fine comfy rooms here, but do reserve a room previous to going given that it is a very popular destination. Purgatory is a great ski area for everybody with lots of easy runs.
