Eldora has the largest vertical drop among ski resorts in a 35 mile radius. The 1,600 feet of height difference is relatively all right; it's sufficient to get some decent time on the ski runs between lifts. On this hill you'll run into 53 different ski slopes; there's a good array to please

    everyone. Eldora has an average proportion of demanding slopes and an average proportion of intermediate or beginner runs. Eldora receives higher snowfall than the local average every ski season. The gorgeous splendor of the Colorado highlands and the delightful
sense of rocketing down the ski slopes are delightful attractions for a lot of ski people. Eldora has an okay variety of runs and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains covered in snow is a nice skiing or snowboarding destination. With such a good size ski terrain, 680 acres in all being short of skiable land won’t happen. There are 12 different ski lifts here, and they are nicely maintained and run by caring folks. The snow covered highlands of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains give this

ski hill an enormously nice vista. This is a regular size ski hill in possession of a drop that's around average compared to other US Rockies ski resorts. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the main area if you want to stay for the night, but you'd better reserve ahead of going because these accommodations fill up swiftly. The tremendous yearly snowfall of 26 feet is one of the reasons this is such a magnificent ski hill. You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this is a neighborhood with lots of spots for that. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is lots of fun all snow season long. Eldora has a wonderful selection of runs; it won’t leave anyone bored. The ski trail map on this page will give you a good idea what Eldora is like. The highlands of Colorado during ski season are a nice spot for skiing or snowboarding. Getting your skiing muscles stimulated and getting out of the house for a while will make you happy you came.
