Silverton is a mid-size ski mountain in possession of an average vertical drop compared to other US Rockies ski resorts. This ski hill has a fairly humble selection of runs and few ski lifts. With such a big skiing territory, 1,819 acres in all you won't run out of skiing area. Silverton has a much higher than average ratio of difficult runs and a much lower than average ratio of blue and green runs. The beautiful snow here becomes incredibly deep, 33 feet per winter, and that is sufficient for incredibly pleasant

    coverage. This ski hill has an altitude difference of 1,900 feet; Silverton makes great use of it all. There aren’t any accommodations in the vicinity, but if you're ready to journey a small distance then no problem, but you'd better reserve prior to departure
because these accommodations fill up quick. Brilliant exercise and getting out of the house for a while attract ski folks from far and near.
