| | This ski resort has a much higher than average fraction of red and black runs and a fraction of blue and green runs much lower than average. Silverton has a somewhat modest variety of ski slopes and few ski lifts. Silverton is an ordinary size ski area in possession of an elevation difference that's more or less average when compared to other US Rockies ski resorts. do during the winter. The natural splendor of the Colorado peaks and the joy of cruising down a slope are in themselves reason enough to come here to ski. Silverton is a petite ski mountain with a friendly workforce. Getting your skiing muscles activated and getting
out of the house for a while will make you delighted you came. In winter the Colorado peaks are something you can’t miss if you're addicted to skiing and snowboarding. There aren’t any places to stay nearby, but if you're ready to drive a short length then no
problem, but do reserve a room before heading out given that it is a very popular destination.
