Kelly Canyon
|
| | We used to go here many years ago. It's a really nice ski area. says Patrick.
Kelly Canyon has a much lower than average proportion of black and red ski runs and a much higher than average percentage of intermediate or beginner trails. Having the skiable area being 740 acres you will never run out of skiable terrain. Kelly Canyon gets blanketed by an average amount of snow every ski season. Kelly Canyon has an okay mixture of trails and sufficient great |

ski lifts to serve them all. All 5 good ski lifts at this ski resort are exciting to hitch a ride with. Getting a good workout and getting out of the house for a while will have you coming back. The wintertime vista of the Idaho summits

Kelly Canyon is a standard size ski hill in possession of a rather cozy drop from top to bottom when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far away from the bottom of the hill if you want to stay an extra day, but you'd better book before you go as these hotels fill up fast. runs well covered all through the ski season. This ski resort has 26 ski slopes, and they are exciting to ski on. No other ski mountain for 47 miles has a higher drop from top to bottom. The 1,000 feet of elevation difference is not

too shaggy; it's enough to get some decent time on the trails between lifts. This is a good place for everyone with loads of green and blue ski trails. The highlands of Idaho in the winter are a fine location for skiing or snowboarding. You might be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, there are a lot of good ski mountains for that in close proximity. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is a good thing to do during the season.
