| | With such a good size skiable territory, 740 acres in all you won't lack skiing land. Kelly Canyon has an acceptable mixture of slopes and a decent number of different ski lifts. All of the 5 good ski lifts are cool to take a ride with. No other ski mountain for 47 miles has a more soaring drop from top to bottom. This ski hill has 26 ski slopes, and they are pleasant to ski on. Kelly Canyon is a conventional size ski area with a small drop from top to bottom when compared to other US Rockies ski mountains. Canyon is a nice place for everyone with a lot of beginner and intermediate trails. The annual snowfall is about average at this ski mountain. Getting a fine workout and spending some quality time in the fresh air will make you feel fine. The 8 feet of great snow
| | that falls here yearly keeps the ski runs well blanketed all through the season. The 1,000 feet of height difference is not that bad; it's enough to get some decent time on the trails between lifts. The snowy hills of Idaho are a pleasant location for skiing or snowboarding. Kelly Canyon has a much lower than average part of black and red ski trails and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate slopes.
