| | Whitefish has scores of different slopes and a good sum of good ski lifts. The snow here becomes extremely deep, 25 feet annually, and that is one of the reasons this is such a great ski resort. Whitefish has the biggest vertical drop for 331 miles. All in all there are 83 slopes to choose from; it's a great diversity. This ski hill gets blanketed by greater than average snow every season. | | and a much higher than average ratio of easy slopes. With the skiing territory being 3,000 acres running out of terrain won’t happen. The 11 ski lifts here make for a relaxing ride up the slope. The 2,353 feet of drop from top to bottom is mind-blowing. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Montana is so much fun through the snow season.
