Blacktail Mountain is a mid-size ski resort having a drop that's in the order of average compared to other US Rockies ski mountains. This ski area has a much lower than average proportion of hard slopes and a much higher than average ratio of blue and green ski trails. The 24 slopes at this ski hill are totally enjoyable. This ski hill gets so much great snow, 21 feet every winter, and that is one of the greatest characteristics of this ski hill. No other ski mountain for 22 miles has a more towering drop from top to

    bottom. Getting your skiing muscles activated and getting out of the house for a while attract snow folks from far and near. This ski resort has a height difference of 1,440 feet; Blacktail Mountain makes good use of it. This ski mountain boasts snowfall close
to the local average every season. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is a splendid thing to do through the winter. This ski resort has a decent set of ski trails and a fairly modest amount of ski lifts. This ski resort has 4 good ski lifts, and they are in wonderful condition. With 1,000 acres of skiable terrain you will never run out of skiable area. There aren’t any rooms in the neighborhood, but if you're ready to go a short distance then no problem, but if you don’t have reservations, you might end up

snoozing in your car. Winter in the mountains of Montana and the high of speeding down a slope are certain to keep you returning for more. In winter the Montana hills are a perfect place for snowboarding and skiing. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, in this general area, you'll encounter a lot of ski mountains. Blacktail Mountain is a family friendly ski area with lots of beginner and intermediate slopes.
