Red Lodge Mountain's drop from top to bottom of 2,400 feet is amazing. This is a conventional size ski resort with a vertical drop that's roughly average if compared to other US Rockies ski resorts. You have to go 129 miles to get to a ski resort having a fuller-size elevation difference. Red Lodge Mountain receives snowfall close to the local average every winter. With such a full-size skiing territory, 1,600 acres in all being short of skiable territory won’t happen. On this slope you'll come upon 70 different runs; it's

    a good collection. The striking 21 feet of yearly snowfall is ample for very brilliant depth. This ski hill has an ok variety of ski trails and an ok selection of ski lifts. There are 8 lifts here, and they make for a relaxing ride up the slope. This ski area
has a delightful choice of runs to match all abilities; it's not possible to get bored here. The skiing and the snowboarding in Montana is scores of fun all snow season long. Glorious exercise and just being on the ski trails for a while have skiers coming here.
