With a sum of 35 trails to ski on; there's a good diversity to suit everyone. This ski area gets an average amount of snow every snow season. This ski hill has 200 acres of terrain, and it's all blanketed by white snow. The 1,700 feet of vertical drop is pretty acceptable; Sandia Peak makes great use of it all. | | snow here gets very deep, 10 feet every winter, and that is one of the finest marks of this ski area. The nearest ski area in possession of a more sky-scraping height difference is 54 miles away. black runs and a much higher than average share of beginner and intermediate runs. The splendid mountain scenery of New Mexico and all the perfect trails have snow people coming from all over. This is a good ski mountain for young and old with plenty of easy runs.
The close by accommodations are a bit far away from the bottom area, and if you make reservations before you go, you're all set. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is lots of fun the whole winter. Nothing tops the New Mexico mountaintops in wintertime; they are something you can’t leave out if you're addicted to skiing or snowboarding.
