| | All 12 lifts at this ski mountain are exciting to take a ride with. This ski hill has 54 runs that you can ski on; it's a glorious range. Alta has an acceptable range of trails and a good choice of lifts. This is a full-size ski hill with a roughly average vertical drop when compared to other US Rockies ski hills. The elevation difference of 2,020 feet is a great drop. The tremendous 42 feet of seasonal snowfall is plenty for incredibly wonderful depth. The Wasatch Range and its peaks is a view worth seeing. full-scale ski terrain, 2,200 acres in all running out of skiing land won’t happen. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are lots of pleasant places for that close by. The yearly snowfall is more than average at this ski hill. Alta
| | has an average proportion of black and red ski slopes and an average part of beginner and intermediate trails. There are some fine hotel rooms right next door to the bottom of the hill, but if you don’t have reservations, you might end up slumbering in your vehicle. Winter in the mountains of Utah and the great feeling of zipping down the trails are guaranteed to keep you returning. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is a delightful thing to do all winter long. Great exercise and getting out of the house for a while will make you pleased you came. This is a perfect ski hill with scores of different ski trails; it won’t leave anyone bored.
