All 8 different ski lifts at this ski area make for a tranquil ride up the slope. Solitude is a typical size ski mountain having a roughly average vertical drop when compared to other US Rockies ski hills. Solitude has a much lower than average ratio of expert and advanced slopes and a much higher than average percentage of easy trails. The astonishing 42 feet of annual

    snowfall is sufficient for truly glorious depth. With 1,200 acres of skiing area you will never be short of skiing land. Solitude is a family friendly ski area with a lot of intermediate or beginner runs for learners. The snow covered mountains of Utah are a fine
spot for snowboarding or skiing. The mountains of the Wasatch Range in wintertime are so scenic you won’t believe it. The height difference of 2,047 feet is really inspiring. This ski hill gets blanketed by heavier than average snow each winter. This ski area has a pleasant pick of runs to match all abilities; it's out of the question to get bored here. On this slope you'll encounter 65 different ski runs; there's a magnificent variety to gratify everyone. Solitude has an acceptable assortment of trails and a reasonable

total of great ski lifts. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is a great thing to do all snow season long. The mountains of the Wasatch Range give this ski hill an exceptionally fine panorama. The gorgeous attractiveness of the Utah hills and the excitement of cruising down a slope are reason enough to come here to ski. Great exercise and spending some quality time in the great outdoors are great reasons to come. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, around here, you'll bump into lots of great spots.
