The 8 feet of snow that falls here yearly keeps the coverage pleasant. This ski area has a decent mixture of trails and an okay quantity of good ski lifts. With a 640 foot drop from top to bottom it's not the highest hill there is, but Mohawk Mountain compensates for it in other ways. has 24 slopes, and they are nice. This ski resort boasts an average amount of snow every snow season. Mohawk Mountain is a small-size ski resort in possession of a drop from top to bottom that's roughly speaking average when you compare it to other ski resorts
| | in the region. There are 6 ski lifts here, and they make for a comforting ride up the slope. Mohawk Mountain has a much lower than average ratio of advanced and expert runs and a much higher than average proportion of green and blue trails. When this sector of Connecticut is blanketed in snow; it is so beautiful for skiing or snowboarding. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is so much fun throughout the snow season. Pleasant exercise and a chance to spend some time in the wilderness will make you feel magnificent. | |

You get loads of skiers driving up here from Torrington on snow covered weekends. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this is an area with plenty of ski areas for that. The nearby places to stay are a bit far away from the base area, but if you don’t have reservations, you may end up slumbering in your automobile.
