With a 640 foot elevation difference it's not the highest hill there is, but Mohawk Mountain has so many other good features. There's 107 acres of skiing area, and all of it makes for great skiing. of easy trails. All 6 different ski lifts at this ski hill will get you up the slope efficiently. Mohawk Mountain is a smaller than average ski hill boasting an average elevation difference if compared to other east coast ski areas. Mohawk Mountain has an ok mixture
| | of trails and a decent total of different ski lifts. The 24 ski trails at this ski area are pleasant to ski on. Nice exercise and spending some quality time in the outdoors are pleasant incentives to come. This ski area gets 8 feet of good snow every winter, and that keeps the depth pleasant. Connecticut gets extremely picturesque during ski season; it is truly a splendid time of year for snowboarding or skiing. This is a popular ski resort for skiers from Torrington. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far away | |
