This is a smaller size than average ski area in possession of a pretty cozy drop from top to bottom when compared to other east coast ski mountains. 50 acres, it's extremely friendly and cozy. There are loads of hotel rooms here if you want to stay an extra day, but if you don’t have reservations, you may well end up sleeping in your car. You get scores of skiers driving up here from Torrington on snow-white weekends.
