of runs and not many lifts. The 240 foot vertical drop is of course not that much to boast about, but all the other brilliant properties of Lost Valley make up for it. Maine gets very pretty in wintertime; it is so pretty for skiing or snowboarding. You may be
| | into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this is a vicinity with a lot of places for that. You get scores of skiers traveling up here from Lewiston-Auburn on snow-white weekends. Lost Valley has the largest altitude difference among ski areas in a 27 mile radius. The 3 good ski lifts here make for a tranquil ride up the slope. Lost Valley is a good ski mountain for the whole family with many green and blue runs for learners. The 4 feet of great snow that falls here every winter doesn’t sound like loads, | |

but it's rather all right. The snowboarding and the skiing in Maine is a good thing to do through the winter season. Getting your skiing muscles started and an opportunity to spend some time in the fresh air have folks coming here.
