| | New Hermon Mountain has a much lower than average ratio of red and black ski runs and a much higher than average proportion of intermediate or beginner ski trails. The 8 feet of snow that fall here yearly keeps the runs well covered during the ski season. With a 350 foot vertical drop it's not the tallest hill there is, but New Hermon Mountain makes up for it by other means. New Hermon Mountain has the greatest elevation difference for 48 miles. | | these places to stay fill up rapidly. A brilliant workout and just being on the slopes for a while will make you glad you came. There are 3 different ski lifts here, and they are amusing to catch a ride with. All the 20 runs here are amusing to ski on. Having 70 acres of ski terrain, it makes for a friendly skiing experience. This is a popular ski resort for skiers from Bangor. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is so much fun all through the ski season.
