Blandford has an ok diversity of slopes and a good choice of different ski lifts. The yearly snowfall is lower than average at this ski area. This is a standard size ski area having a more inviting than average height difference when compared to other east coast ski hills. This ski hill has 158 acres of skiing land, and all of it makes for magnificent skiing. Blandford has a much lower than average ratio of demanding slopes and a much higher than average fraction of blue and green slopes. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding,

The annual snowfall of 4 feet is rather okay for a ski hill such as this one. With a 465 foot elevation difference it's not the highest hill there is, but Blandford compensates for it by other means. The 5 good ski lifts here will get you up the mountain well. Loads of skiers go up here from Springfield, specifically on the weekends. Not too many lodgings close by, you'll have to travel a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is so much fun the whole winter.
