Catamount   I have the great fortune of living near Catamount so I can go pretty much any time I want. It's a great ski area for being of moderate size. Good variety of runs, no chance of getting bored. says Ron. This ski hill has 7 good ski lifts, and they will get you up the hill efficiently. This ski mountain boasts less than average snow every snow season. The 29 ski trails at this ski resort are beautiful. Catamount is a relaxed ski resort in possession     of an elevation difference that's roughly speaking average when compared to other east coast ski resorts. This ski mountain has 105 acres of skiable terrain, and it's all covered by great snow. You have to go 24 miles to get to a ski resort with a greater height difference. A perfect workout and getting out of the house for a while will make you glad you came. The close by lodgings are a bit far away from the base area, and if you make reservations before heading out, you're all set. The mountains of Massachusetts blanketed in ice cold snow are a nice location for snowboarding and skiing. The 1,000 feet of drop is not that shaggy; it's sufficient to get some decent time on the runs       between lifts. The yearly snowfall of 7 feet keeps the coverage great. Catamount has a much lower than average proportion of red and black trails and a much higher than average percentage of blue and green runs. Catamount is a family friendly ski resort with scores of beginner and intermediate slopes for beginners. The natural splendor of the Massachusetts summits and the great feeling of coasting down the runs are in themselves reason enough to come here to ski.
