| | I have the great fortune of living near Catamount so I can go pretty much any time I want. It's a great ski area for being of moderate size. Good variety of runs, no chance of getting bored. says Ron.
The 1,000 feet of vertical drop is not that shaggy; Catamount makes good use of it. The 7 great ski lifts here are in nice condition. This ski area has 29 runs, and they are striking. keeps the slopes well covered all through the snow season. Catamount has a much lower than average share of expert and advanced ski slopes and a much higher than average ratio of green and blue ski slopes. Catamount is a splendid place for everybody with many
| | beginner and intermediate slopes for learners. Catamount has an okay diversity of ski slopes and sufficient ski lifts to serve them all. Catamount has the biggest vertical drop among ski mountains in a 24 mile radius. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far from the base zone if you want to stay for the night, but you'd better book previous to going in view of the fact that these places to stay fill up quickly. Catamount is a cozy ski area with a roughly average vertical drop compared to other east coast ski mountains. | |

No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this neighborhood has loads of ski areas. There's 105 acres of skiable terrain, and all of it makes for magnificent skiing. The Massachusetts summits during snow season are a good location for snowboarding and skiing.
The picturesque prettiness of the Massachusetts peaks and the rush of gliding down a slope are guaranteed to keep you returning for more.
