| | Bretton Woods ski area Management Says: Mount Washington Resort, the home of Bretton Woods, New Hampshire's largest ski area, is undergoing a billion dollar renaissance as part of long-term master planned community spanning the next decade. In addition to numerous recent up-grades and renovations, the Resort is looking forward to opening a brand new Spa and Conference Center this winter in 2008/09. As part of the plan, over $1 million is being invested in Bretton Woods for the coming season, including the addition of |
an exciting new year-round Canopy Tour, an expanded Children's Playground (Kinderwoods), and a brand new Rental Fleet and Seasonal Rental Program through its relationship with Elan/Dalbello. Adding to the already vast array of fun and exhilarating activities
| | at Mount Washington Resort, the new year-round Canopy Tour at Bretton Woods is sure to be an experience guests will never forget. Descending over 1000 feet of elevation, the 3 hour tour designed by Bonsai Designs Inc. out of Grand Junction, Colorado, will take nature lovers and thrill seekers alike across a series of 10 treetop zip lines, some reaching 800 feet in length and over 200 feet off the forest floor. High flying suspension bridges and hiking trails will connect the zips and carry guests all the way back to | |

the Base Area. While the group gathers on treetop platforms, Adventure Guides will take the time to describe the local flora and fauna in addition to discussing the surrounding area, its natural history, and White Mountain lore. In addition to Nordic skiing,
dog-sledding, snowshoeing, snow tubing, ice skating, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, and ice-climbing, the Canopy Tour will be another thrilling alternative to skiing and riding in the winter --- the perfect fit for the active family who needs to be outdoors. The
Canopy Tour is also ideal for large or small groups with a wide range of ages. The combined interactive, challenging and educational nature of the experience is unique, rewarding, and fun. The enormously popular Kinderwoods Playground, created last year at
the base of Bretton Woods ski area, has been expanded with the installation of a rope tow and sledding hill, fire pit and new playground equipment. Bretton Woods has also invested in the replacement of the entire fleet of rental equipment. In partnership with
Elan/Dalbello, the new Four Factor System will be used to provide guests with state-of-the-art equipment and, at the same time, stream-line the entire rental process. This means more time on the slopes. Guests will also have the opportunity to rent high-end demo
equipment through the new Seasonal Rental Program. For a one time seasonal price, guests will be able to select the appropriate ski for the current snow conditions. The new Seasonal Rental Program will allow guests the opportunity to be on the right equipment
for the current conditions, not to mention the convenience. This program will allow guests to have a complete quiver of skis without having to purchase multiple pairs.'' The opportunity to buy exists at any time if a guest opts to stay with one particular ski.
These improvements at Bretton Woods, along with extensive renovations at the historic Mount Washington Hotel, and the grand opening of a new Presidential Wing, including the new Spa and Conference Center make Mount Washington Resort the place to visit this winter.
