This ski resort has a much lower than average percentage of hard ski trails and a much higher than average fraction of blue and green trails. The 23 slopes at this ski hill are pretty. There are 5 good ski lifts here, and they are admirably taken care of and run by friendly folks. No other ski mountain for 21 miles has a more soaring height difference. With 75 acres of skiable land, it's more of a cozy style ski mountain. The 9 feet of wonderful snow that falls here yearly keeps the slopes well covered during the

    winter. Crotched Mountain is a petite ski resort featuring a medium altitude difference when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. Not too many rooms in close proximity, you'll have to voyage a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations ahead
of going, you're all set. This ski mountain gets blanketed by snowfall close to the local average every winter. This ski area has a comparatively humble assortment of trails and sufficient different ski lifts to serve them all. Nice exercise and getting out of the house for a while will have you coming back. With a 875 foot drop from top to bottom it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other tremendous characteristics of Crotched Mountain make up for it. You get lots of skiers traveling up here from Manchester-Nashua

on snow-white weekends. The snow covered mountaintops of New Hampshire are always splendid for snowboarding and skiing. Crotched Mountain is a nice ski mountain for the whole family with loads of green and blue slopes for novices. The skiing and the snowboarding in New Hampshire is lots of fun all through the winter season. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, in the vicinity, you'll locate many perfect locations.

Special features: Every Friday and Saturday night Crotched is open until 3am. Live entertainment, Slopeside Bonfires & crazy events are just a few of the shenanigans that go on at Midnight Madness.
