| | This ski resort has a much lower than average percentage of hard ski trails and a much higher than average fraction of blue and green trails. The 23 slopes at this ski hill are pretty. There are 5 good ski lifts here, and they are admirably taken care of and run by friendly folks. No other ski mountain for 21 miles has a more soaring height difference. winter. Crotched Mountain is a petite ski resort featuring a medium altitude difference when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. Not too many rooms in close proximity, you'll have to voyage a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations ahead
| | of going, you're all set. This ski mountain gets blanketed by snowfall close to the local average every winter. This ski area has a comparatively humble assortment of trails and sufficient different ski lifts to serve them all. Nice exercise and getting out of the house for a while will have you coming back. With a 875 foot drop from top to bottom it's not the tallest hill there is, but all the other tremendous characteristics of Crotched Mountain make up for it.
