Loon Mountain has an ok collection of slopes and an acceptable number of good ski lifts. This is a normal size ski hill having a rather towering altitude difference when compared to other east coast ski mountains. This ski area has a much lower than average percentage of advanced and expert runs and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate slopes. are in magnificent condition. Having a sum of 45 ski runs to ski on; it's a magnificent selection. There's 275 acres of terrain, and all of it makes for great skiing. Loon Mountain has the most sizeable altitude difference among ski mountains in a 29 mile radius.
| | Loon Mountain has snowfall close to the local average each season. The remarkable 10 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a great ski resort. Loon Mountain is a wonderful ski area with lots of different trails; it's out of the question to get bored here.
