This ski area has 220 acres of skiable territory, and it's all covered by wonderful snow. This ski hill has 5 different ski lifts, and they are competently taken care of and operated by welcoming folks. ski hill has an elevation difference of 1,250 feet; Ragged Mountain makes excellent use of it all. The 8 feet of good snow that fall here annually keeps the coverage good. The snowy summits of New Hampshire are a nice spot for snowboarding
| | or skiing. Ragged Mountain is an ordinary size ski resort having an average drop from top to bottom compared to other east coast ski areas. This ski resort has a good array of ski trails and an acceptable total of different ski lifts. This ski mountain has a much lower than average part of red and black ski trails and a much higher than average percentage of beginner and intermediate ski trails. Ragged Mountain boasts snowfall close to the local average each winter. | |

This is a tremendous spot for young and old with lots of blue and green trails. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far from the bottom area if you want to stay overnight, but if you don’t have reservations, you could end up

sleeping in your vehicle. Some exercise and spending some quality time in the fresh air will have you returning for more. The summits of the White Mountains in winter are a nice spot for snowboarding or skiing. The snow covered summits of the White Mountains make for a nice vista.
