| | The 9 feet of fluffy snow that fall here per season keeps the trails well blanketed during the ski season. With a 700 foot drop it's not the highest hill there is, but Whaleback has so many other great characteristics. No other ski mountain for 21 miles has a more sky-scraping drop. This ski area has an average percentage of red and black runs and an average proportion of beginner and intermediate slopes. The 28 slopes at this ski area are splendid. Having 60 acres of skiing area, it's exceptionally friendly and petite. |
