This is a sizeable ski area boasting a heap of vertical feet when compared to other east coast ski hills. No other ski hill for 35 miles has a higher altitude difference. There's 400 acres of skiable terrain, and all of it makes for tremendous skiing. | | more. Not too many hotel rooms in the vicinity, you'll have to journey a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve prior to departure as these hotel rooms fill up quickly. The remarkable 13 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a tremendous ski hill. Having a sum of 88 slopes to ski on; there's a delightful diversity to suit everyone.
