This is a standard size ski resort with a roughly average altitude difference when you compare it to other ski resorts in the region. Holiday Valley has a decent array of trails and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. The yearly snowfall is roughly average at Holiday Valley. This ski hill has 266 acres of skiable land, and it's all blanketed by good snow. This ski resort has an average part of black and |

red trails and an average share of blue and green trails. The mind-blowing 14 feet of seasonal snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a splendid ski hill. The 750 foot height difference is of course not that much to talk about, but all the other good features
| | of Holiday Valley compensate for it. All 12 great ski lifts at this ski area will get you up the slope well. You have to go 113 miles to get to a ski resort having a larger elevation difference. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are lots of tremendous ski areas for that in close proximity. Getting a tremendous workout and just being on the ski runs for a while are tremendous incentives to come. wintertime the New York mountaintops are always great for snowboarding and skiing. The charming loveliness of the New York hills and all the glorious slopes are guaranteed to keep you returning. No shortage of brilliant hotels, but do book a room prior to departure because it is a very popular destination.
