This ski hill has an altitude difference of 1,600 feet; Hunter Mountain makes good use of it. The Catskill Mountains and its mountaintops make for a great view. Hunter Mountain is a mid-size ski resort featuring a medium altitude difference if compared to other east coast ski areas.
