| | The 4 different ski lifts here make for a peaceful ride up the slope. Thunder Ridge has a much lower than average fraction of red and black ski runs and a much higher than average share of easy ski runs. This is a cozy ski resort in possession of a smaller than average height difference when you compare it to other ski resorts in the region. and a humble sum of ski lifts. With a 500 foot drop it's not the tallest hill there is, but Thunder Ridge compensates for it by other means. The skiing and the snowboarding in New York is a delightful thing to do through the winter. This ski mountain obtains 8
| | feet of white snow per season, and that keeps the slopes well covered through the season. No other ski resort for 25 miles has a higher height difference. Getting your skiing muscles started and spending some quality time in nature will make you happy you came. The seasonal snowfall is approximately average at this ski resort. The winter in New York is so scenic for snowboarding and skiing. No need to hunt hard for lodgings, but do reserve a room prior to departure because it is a very popular destination.
