| | Woods Valley has a fairly small variety of ski slopes and a fairly modest number of ski lifts. The yearly snowfall is more or less average at this ski mountain. Woods Valley has a much lower than average fraction of expert and advanced ski trails and a much higher than average ratio of blue and green ski slopes. The 3 different ski lifts here are cool to get a ride with. With 25 acres of skiable territory, it makes for an intimate skiing experience. You have to go 35 miles to get to a ski mountain boasting a larger drop. |

The 12 runs at this ski mountain are totally cool. Woods Valley is a cozy ski mountain boasting a more inviting than average drop when compared to other east coast ski mountains. The 500 foot elevation difference is unsurprisingly not that much to brag about,
| | but Woods Valley makes up for it in other ways. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are a lot of nice places for that close by. This ski area obtains so much snow, 15 feet yearly, and that is one of the reasons this is such a good ski area. Woods Valley is a fine location for the whole family with a lot of intermediate or beginner trails for beginners. No lack of splendid lodgings, but if you don’t have reservations, you might end up sleeping in your automobile. You get scores of skiers | |

going up here from Utica-Rome on snow-white weekends. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is lots of fun every day of the ski season. New York gets fantastically picturesque in the winter; it is so picturesque for snowboarding or skiing. Getting a nice workout and getting out of the house for a while is better than anything.
