Woods Valley receives snowfall close to the local average every ski season. All 3 different ski lifts at this ski area are perfectly looked after and controlled by pleasant folks. This ski mountain has a somewhat modest variety of runs and not many lifts. You have to go 35 miles to get to a ski hill in possession of a better size drop. The amazing seasonal snowfall of 15 feet is one of the greatest traits of this ski |

area. Woods Valley has a much lower than average share of advanced and expert trails and a much higher than average proportion of green and blue runs. The skiing land being 25 acres, it makes for a peaceful skiing experience. The 12 runs at this ski hill are totally
| | exciting. This is a petite ski area in possession of a relatively relaxed drop compared to other east coast ski hills. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of New York is loads of fun all winter long. The 500 foot vertical drop is of course not that much to boast about, but Woods Valley makes up for it by other means. of easy trails. There are a lot of great hotel rooms to choose from, and if you make reservations before heading out, you're all set. Getting a bit of pleasant exercise and a chance to spend some time in the great outdoors outshines anything.
