Woods Valley is a more petite than average ski hill in possession of a relatively relaxed drop from top to bottom if compared to other east coast ski areas. Woods Valley has the largest drop from top to bottom among ski areas in a 35 mile radius. This ski area has a comparatively modest collection of ski runs and a small number of lifts. A 500 foot drop is unsurprisingly not that much, but all the other great features of Woods Valley make up for it. Having a skiable land of 25 acres, it's more of a cozy style ski area. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is so much fun all ski season long. This is a popular ski mountain for skiers from Utica-Rome. | |
