Woods Valley   Pretty ski area, the view is very pleasant. And the skiing is good to of course. says Will. This is a cozier than average ski area in possession of a more petite than average altitude difference when compared to other east coast ski areas. This ski area obtains snowfall close to the local average every winter. All of the 3 good ski lifts will get you up the slope well. Woods Valley has a fairly modest mixture of runs and a small number of lifts. The     mind-blowing 15 feet of annual snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a pleasant ski resort. Woods Valley is a tremendous place for the whole family with loads of green and blue runs. With 25 acres of skiing territory, it's extremely lovely and small-size. The 500 foot drop from top to bottom is of course not that much to talk about, but Woods Valley compensates for it in other ways. This ski mountain has 12 ski runs, and they are wonderful. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, around here, you'll find many good ski hills. This ski hill has a much lower than average percentage of tough trails and a much higher than average proportion of intermediate or beginner runs.       Woods Valley has the greatest altitude difference among ski areas in a 35 mile radius. You'll stumble upon loads of skiers from Utica-Rome here. No shortage of magnificent hotel rooms, but if you don’t have reservations, you might   end up slumbering in your car. The winter in New York is so stunning for snowboarding or skiing.
