This is a cozier than average ski area in possession of a more petite than average altitude difference when compared to other east coast ski areas. | | lovely and small-size. The 500 foot drop from top to bottom is of course not that much to talk about, but Woods Valley compensates for it in other ways. This ski mountain has 12 ski runs, and they are wonderful. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, around here, you'll find many good ski hills. This ski hill has a much lower than average percentage of tough trails and a much higher than average proportion of intermediate or beginner runs. | |
