Yawgoo Valley
| | Yawgoo Valley is not huge but it's the only one we've got here in Rhode Island. says Jack.
This ski area has a much lower than average proportion of black and red runs and a much higher than average fraction of blue and green ski runs. This ski area has a somewhat modest variety of ski runs and a comparatively small sum of ski lifts. Yawgoo Valley has the most sizeable elevation difference for 46 miles. The skiable terrain being 30 acres, it's more of |
a cozy style ski hill. This is a small ski resort having a pretty cozy elevation difference when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. The 12 runs at this ski hill are cool to ski on. Yawgoo Valley obtains lower than
| | average snow every snow season. There are 4 good ski lifts here, and they are cool to catch a ride with. A 245 foot height difference is of course not that much, but Yawgoo Valley has so many other nice features. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is loads of fun the whole winter season. Lots of skiers travel up here from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, specially on the weekends. The 3 feet of great snow that falls here yearly is | |
reasonably ok for a ski hill like this one. There are pleasant comfy places to stay here, but you'd better book prior to departure because these places to stay fill up quick. The winter months in Rhode Island is truly a good time

of year for skiing or snowboarding. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, this is a region with loads of sites for that. Getting a pleasant workout and spending some quality time in the wilderness are pleasant causes to come.
