With a 245 foot vertical drop it's not the highest hill there is, but Yawgoo Valley has so many other wonderful qualities. This ski area has a much lower than average share of challenging runs and a much higher than average percentage of beginner and intermediate ski slopes. The yearly snowfall is less than average at this ski area. The 4 great ski lifts here make for a comforting ride up the hill. All the 12 slopes here are |

splendid to ski on. Many skiers from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River like to ski here. The 3 feet of wonderful snow that falls here every year is not fantastically high, but it's ok. Having a skiable terrain of 30 acres, it's small-size enough to get to know
| | all your fellow ski folks. Yawgoo Valley is a more inviting than average ski resort with a cozier than average altitude difference if compared to other east coast ski areas. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, there are lots of fine ski resorts for that close at hand.
