There are 4 great ski lifts here, and they are amusing to take a ride with. This ski mountain has a good diversity of runs and quite few lifts. The tremendous annual snowfall of 18 feet is one of the reasons this is such a great ski mountain. The yearly snowfall is about average at Burke Mountain. Burke Mountain is an average size ski area having a lot of vertical feet compared to other east coast ski resorts. This ski area has a much lower than average fraction of challenging slopes and a much higher than average ratio

    of blue and green runs. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are loads of fine sites for that nearby. This ski area has a drop from top to bottom of 2,011 feet which is sufficient for a pleasant top to bottom run. Burke Mountain has
the biggest elevation difference among ski resorts in a 45 mile radius. The snow blanketed mountains of the Green Mountains is a vista worth seeing. This is a family friendly ski resort with a lot of intermediate or beginner runs for beginners. This ski hill has 250 acres of skiing area, and all of it makes for good skiing. There are 45 runs to choose from; it's a fine variety. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is a wonderful thing to do all season long. Burke Mountain has a magnificent choice of runs

to match all abilities; it won’t leave anyone bored. The wonderful mountain vista of Vermont and all the tremendous ski runs have scores of snow folks coming here. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far from the base area if you want to stay an extra day, but you'd better reserve previous to going as these hotel rooms fill up quick.
