With 771 acres of terrain you won't be short of terrain. This ski hill has a much lower than average share of advanced and expert slopes and a much higher than average part of intermediate or beginner runs. This is a big ski hill boasting an average vertical drop when you compare it to other ski hills in the region. receives an average amount of snow each winter. This ski hill has a tremendous selection of runs to match all abilities; it's out of the question to get bored here. Haystack has loads of different runs and loads of good ski lifts. The winter vista of the Vermont
| | hills and the buzz of coasting down a slope make the visit here worthwhile. All of the 23 lifts will get you up the mountain well. The 1,160 feet of drop is not that bad; it's enough to get some decent time on the slopes between lifts. Having a total of 145 slopes to ski on; there are plenty slopes for every skill. Tremendous exercise and getting out of the house for a while will make you feel wonderful.
