Haystack is a full-size ski resort in possession of a medium drop when compared to other east coast ski resorts. Haystack has scores of slopes and scores of great lifts. The 1,160 feet of elevation difference is relatively ok; Haystack makes good use of it all. This ski hill has a much lower than average percentage of red and black slopes and a much higher than average proportion     of intermediate or beginner slopes. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general area, you'll run into lots of ski areas. The seasonal snowfall is roughly average at Haystack. This ski mountain has 145 ski slopes that you can ski on; there's a fine collection to gratify everyone. With such a sizeable skiable terrain, 771 acres in all you won't run out of skiing territory. This ski hill has a tremendous assortment of trails; it won’t leave anyone bored. There are a number of delightful accommodations right next door to the bottom of the hill, but do book a room ahead of going given that it is a very popular destination. The phenomenal annual snowfall       of 14 feet is an incredibly good coverage. The wintertime vista of the Vermont mountains and the high of rocketing down a slope have ski folks coming from far and wide. This ski resort has 23 lifts, and they make for a comforting   ride up the hill. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a lot of fun the whole season. A little bit of exercise and just being on the ski trails for a while will have you coming back. The snow-white hills of Vermont are always splendid for snowboarding and skiing.
