Ski Snowstar Winter Sports Park has the largest drop from top to bottom among ski mountains in a 52 mile radius. The 15 trails at this ski hill are lovely. This is a smaller than average ski resort with a drop that's something like average compared to other mid west ski mountains. This ski hill

    has 7 different ski lifts, and they make for a calming ride up the hill. With a 262 foot elevation difference it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other good properties of Ski Snowstar Winter Sports Park compensate for it. This ski hill has a rather
humble array of trails and an ok pick of good ski lifts. The 3 feet of fluffy snow that fall here per year doesn’t sound like lots, but it's reasonably acceptable. This ski area has a much lower than average fraction of challenging ski trails and a much higher than average part of green and blue trails. With a skiable terrain of 28 acres, it's incredibly friendly and small. Some exercise and getting out of the house for a while will make you delighted you came. The yearly snowfall is lower than average at this ski area.

Ski Snowstar Winter Sports Park is a family friendly ski area with loads of beginner and intermediate runs. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, close by, you won't come across many other spots. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is lots of fun the whole winter. There aren’t any rooms close by, but if you're ready to travel a small length then no problem, and if you make reservations ahead of going, you're all set. The wintertime months in Illinois is so beautiful for snowboarding and skiing. Scores of skiers from Davenport-Moline-Rock Island like to ski here.

The scenic setting is located in beautiful Coal Creek Valley, just 5 minutes west of the Quad-Cities in Andalusia, Illinois. Carved out of the native hardwood hills along the Mississippi River in west-central Illinois are 28 acres of winter fun. A state-of-the- art snowmaking system and grooming fleet provide 100% coverage when Mother Nature is not cooperating.
