Snowstar, wow cool name, sounds sporty and trendy, I like it. Not just the name but ski area itself too of course. Sporty and trendy, just like me. Nah, seriously, it's a good place, and not far away. says Maggie.

This ski hill gets blanketed by 3 feet of great snow annually, and that is not incredibly high, but it's acceptable. Ski Snowstar Winter Sports Park has a much lower than average proportion of hard trails and a much higher than average fraction of easy ski runs. This ski hill obtains lighter snowfall

    than the local average every season. The 15 ski runs at this ski hill are totally enjoyable. A 262 foot drop from top to bottom is naturally not that much, but Ski Snowstar Winter Sports Park has so many other wonderful attributes. A wonderful workout and getting
out of the house for a while have ski folks coming here. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is so much fun every day of the ski season. The 7 good ski lifts here will get you up the slope efficiently. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this is an area with few other places for that. Ski Snowstar Winter Sports Park is a smaller than average ski mountain boasting an average vertical drop when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. The close by rooms are a bit away from the main

area, and if you make reservations before heading out, you're all set. Having a skiable land of 28 acres, it's enormously pleasant and relaxed. No other ski area for 52 miles has a more soaring altitude difference. This ski resort has a fairly humble range of ski runs and a reasonable choice of lifts. The wintertime in Illinois is the most wonderful time of the year for snowboarding and skiing. You get many skiers going up here from Davenport-Moline-Rock Island on snowy weekends. This is a family friendly ski resort with lots of intermediate or beginner ski trails.
