Apple Mountain ski area, Michigan
| | I have a season pass and go every day, and there is only one chair lift, and a bunny hill and intermediate hill and an advanced hill. So I dk what this is talking about? says Nicki Thomas.
This ski area has a rather small diversity of ski slopes and an ok choice of different ski lifts. This is a small-size ski mountain having a roughly average altitude difference when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. The yearly snowfall of 4 feet is not very high, but it's acceptable. Apple Mountain gets covered |
by lighter than average snow each winter. The 220 foot vertical drop is unsurprisingly not that much to boast about, but all the other magnificent properties of Apple Mountain compensate for it. Apple Mountain has the largest altitude difference for 49 miles.
| | Snowboarding and skiing in this region is scores of fun all season long. This ski mountain has 6 ski lifts, and they are in great shape. The terrain being 42 acres, it's small-size enough to get to know all your fellow ski folks. Apple Mountain has a much lower than average percentage of black and red trails and a much higher than average proportion of green and blue ski slopes. This ski mountain has 12 slopes, and they are picturesque. This is a family friendly ski area with heaps of green and blue trails. If you'll | |
be living in a hotel, you're in luck, rooms are at your disposal right next door to the base zone, but you'd better book previous to going because these rooms fill up fast. Getting a good workout and just being on the ski runs for a while are good reasons to come.
Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, this is a vicinity with loads of ski mountains for that. The wintertime months in Michigan is the most grandiose time of the year for skiing or snowboarding.
