Apple Mountain ski area, Michigan
|
| | I have a season pass and go every day, and there is only one chair lift, and a bunny hill and intermediate hill and an advanced hill. So I dk what this is talking about? says Nicki Thomas.
There are 6 great ski lifts here, and they are in pleasant condition. This ski hill has a much lower than average proportion of red and black runs and a much higher than average share of beginner and intermediate runs. Having a skiable area of 42 acres, it's enormously nice and small-size. This ski resort has a fairly small array |
|
of runs and a good sum of ski lifts. Apple Mountain has the biggest altitude difference for 49 miles. The 4 feet of snow that falls here yearly is not fantastically high, but it's all right. This is a more petite than average ski hill in possession of a roughly
| | average height difference when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Michigan is scores of fun during the ski season. A 220 foot height difference is unsurprisingly not that much, but Apple Mountain has so many other wonderful qualities. This ski hill receives lower snowfall than the local average every winter. All the 12 ski runs here are pretty. You get lots of skiers driving up here from Saginaw-Saginaw Township North on snowy weekends. Some folks prefer skiing | |
|
and some snowboarding, either way, this region has a lot of ski hills. The nearby hotels are a bit far from the main area, but you'd better reserve ahead of going as these hotels fill up quick. Michigan gets very beautiful during snow season; it is so beautiful
for snowboarding or skiing. Apple Mountain is a family friendly ski mountain with many intermediate or beginner runs.
Apple Mountain ski area Management Says: Apple Mountain has 100% snowmaking capabilities - all we need is cold weather. We also have a terrain park that includes a variety of rails and features.
