The 6 ski lifts here will get you up the mountain well. Blackjack gets blanketed by snowfall close to the local average each ski season. This ski area has so much great snow, 18 feet every winter, and that is one of the best traits of this ski area. There's 101 acres of ski terrain, and it's all

    covered by ice cold snow. A 465 foot elevation difference is naturally not that much, but Blackjack has so many other great properties. The Gogebic Range in winter is a wonderful location for skiing and snowboarding. This ski area has an average proportion of
expert and advanced trails and an average part of intermediate or beginner trails. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the base area if you want to spend the night, but if you don’t have reservations, you could end up sleeping in your car.
