Crystal features two terrain parks and 45 downhill slopes, a quarter of which are expert trails with the majority of the trails perfect     for beginner and intermediate skiers. Benzie County receives ample lake effect snow each winter complimented with the snow created by Crystal Mountain's 129 snowguns. In addition to downhill skiing, Crystal has 40km of cross-country trails including those through Michigan Legacy Art Park.
