A 225 foot height difference is unsurprisingly not that much, but Hanson Hills makes up for it by other means. The nearest ski hill featuring a more towering altitude difference is 28 miles away. This ski area gets blanketed by 5 feet of great snow per winter, and that is quite acceptable for a ski area like this one. All the 11 runs here are good. Hanson Hills is an average size ski hill having a medium vertical

    drop if compared to other mid west ski hills. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Michigan is a fine thing to do every day of the snow season. Great exercise and just being on the ski slopes for a while have snow folks coming here. Hanson Hills has a somewhat
humble range of slopes and a decent amount of different ski lifts. Hanson Hills has a much lower than average fraction of challenging ski slopes and a much higher than average share of intermediate or beginner slopes. This ski area has 5 different ski lifts, and they will get you up the slope well. This ski hill has 125 acres of skiable area, and it's all in fine shape.
