A 600 foot vertical drop is of course not that much, but Marquette makes up for it with other things. The amazing yearly snowfall of 18 feet is ample for truly great depth. All the 25 ski runs here are totally enjoyable. This is a full-size ski hill featuring a rather towering elevation difference if compared to other mid west ski areas. All of the 4 great ski lifts are perfectly maintained and run by caring people. Marquette has an average fraction of difficult slopes and an average ratio of beginner and intermediate

    slopes. Getting your skiing muscles started and getting out of the house for a while will have you coming back for more. There's 151 acres of skiing area, and it's all blanketed by great snow. There are glorious comfy hotels here, but you'd better book before
heading out as these hotels fill up quickly. This ski mountain has a decent collection of slopes and a small sum of ski lifts. You have to go 155 miles to get to a ski area in possession of a fuller-size drop. The annual snowfall is about average at this ski area. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, there are not so many other great ski areas for that close at hand.
