Mount Brighton ski area, Michigan
|
| | Hi everyone, this is Steve. I've been a skier for many years and Mount Brighton is the closest skiing place to my house so I come here a lot. It's pretty good, not bad at all. It's better if you ski slow though, otherwise you get down very fast. But it's pretty good, well worth a visit. says Steve.
This is a conventional size ski mountain having a medium height difference compared to other mid west ski areas. Mount Brighton obtains less snowfall than the local average each ski season. There's 130 acres of terrain, |

and it's all in fine shape. All the 26 ski runs here are enjoyable to ski on. Mount Brighton has a much lower than average proportion of demanding slopes and a much higher than average percentage of green and blue runs. A bit of exercise and just being on the
| | runs for a while have snow skiers coming here. All 17 different ski lifts at this ski resort are in great shape. Mount Brighton has the most sizeable height difference for 22 miles. With a 230 foot altitude difference it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other fine qualities of Mount Brighton compensate for it. This ski mountain has an okay assortment of runs and a splendid choice of lifts. There are loads of rooms here if you want to stay for the night, but if you don’t have reservations, you might end up | |

sleeping in your vehicle. The 5 feet of great snow that fall here per season is relatively reasonable for a ski mountain like this one. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, this area has a relatively small number of ski resorts. The best piece of info on this
resort is unsurprisingly the trailmap of Mount Brighton on this internet page. This is a popular ski mountain for skiers from Ann Arbor. Mount Brighton is a nice ski resort for everybody with a heap of intermediate or beginner trails.
