Norway Mountain has the largest vertical drop among ski areas in a 47 mile radius. This ski area has a somewhat modest set of ski trails and a good total of ski lifts. This ski area obtains an average amount of snow each winter. There's 100 acres of ski terrain, and all of it makes for good skiing. This ski mountain boasts 8 feet of beautiful

    snow annually, and that keeps the depth wonderful. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is a nice thing to do all season long. Heaps of skiers voyage up here from Iron Mountain, especially on the weekends. With a 500 foot drop from top to bottom
it's not the tallest hill there is, but Norway Mountain compensates for it by other means. The 15 trails at this ski hill are splendid to ski on. This is a mid-size ski area having a roughly average vertical drop compared to other mid west ski areas. Michigan gets extremely beautiful in the winter; it is so beautiful for snowboarding or skiing. Great exercise and an opportunity to spend some time in nature will make you feel splendid.
