Nubs Nob receives snowfall close to the local average each winter. This ski hill has a much lower than average percentage of red and black ski slopes and a much higher than average ratio of intermediate or beginner trails. This ski mountain has an acceptable set of trails and sufficient different ski lifts to serve them all. This is a full-scale ski hill in possession of an average vertical drop when compared to other mid west ski mountains. With a total of 53 ski trails to ski on; it's a perfect collection. The winter

The 10 good ski lifts here will get you up the hill well. With a 427 foot height difference it's not the highest hill there is, but Nubs Nob has so many other splendid features. The unbelievable 10 feet of yearly snowfall is one of the most excellent characteristics of this ski hill. You'll bump into many skiers from Sault Ste. Marie here.
